Ile de Sein . Brittany . France
A small group retreat to slow down and reconnect.
Guided by Gyanmitra Saraswati, whose teaching is rooted in the Bihar School of Yoga lineage, the retreat approaches yoga as a living practice, a path toward clarity, stability, and inner calm.
Practices include gentle asana (yoga postures), breath work (pranayama), moments of silence, philosophical reflections, and time for rest and integration. The intention is not intensity but depth.
Accessible to all levels, the practice emphasizes awareness, presence and simplicity.
Some periods of silence allow space for observation and inner quiet, where time in nature becomes part of the experience. This retreat offers an authentic approach to yoga, not as a performance, but as a practical and philosophical way of living.
Practices are guided in English with clear verbal and physical guidance.
Gyanmitra is a co-founder of the Swan Foundation for Ayurveda and Yoga Research in Goa, India.
Who is this retreat for
This retreat is designed for people seeking space to slow down, reconnect with themselves, and explore yoga beyond physical practice. To preserve a quiet and personal atmosphere, the retreat is intentionally kept small.
No previous yoga experience is required. The retreat welcomes both beginners and experienced practitioners who feel drawn to a quieter and more reflective approach to yoga.
